I happened to find these guys at the grocery store:

I knew what I wanted to do with them…make something with the PERFECT combination!
What is your idea of the PERFECT combination???
To me it HAS to be peanut butter & chocolate! There is nothing better than those two flavors together. Of course I can eat peanut butter straight up, right out of the jar…but chocolate, not so much. I’m not a big chocolate fan, when it’s by itself. I would much rather eat it WITH something…like peanut butter of course
I told Craig that I would make him a ‘boy’ dessert that we could bring when we went to my sister’s house the other night. I told him to STAY away from the snickerdoodles, but in exchange he would get a special treat. Sounds like I live with a 5 year old, huh?!
Here’s what I came up with:
Chocolate PB Bundt Cake
(adapted from this recipe)
Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 package (King Size) Mini Bite size Reeses
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a bundt pan with non stick spray.
2. In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, sugars and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time.
3.Gradually add flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt and mix until combined.

4. Mix in peanut butter, then stir in mini Reese cups & peanut butter chips.

5. Pour into sprayed bundt pan & bake in preheated oven for 30- 40 minutes. (tooth pick will not come clean, but don’t worry! Just make sure that the bottom looks done)

6. Once it has cooled I melted about a 1/2 cup of peanut butter & drizzled it over the top. Then I sprinkled on some more peanut butter chips & a few more Mini reese cups.

The B.O.M.B! It’s REALLY rich, so beware. But OH so yummy
More on this 30 day challenge…
Day 11- Put your Ipod on Shuffle & Write 10 songs that Pop up.
Ok, well, this isn’t going to happen. Sorry! My ipod is dead..like really dead, like it needs to charge for 5 days kind of dead. Since our gym has tv’s at every cardio station, I typically just watch tv while I run or I put on MTV & listen to all of the music videos. Once I start running more outside (when I start my new medication) I will once again have my ipod up & running..until then I just keep myself entertained with different tv shows
That being said, I’ll just go on to Day 12- Bullet your whole day.

The family still has to try it but I’m sure it will be a hit!
