Hope all is going well so far- it IS Friday- so that seems to always make the day better 🙂
This morning I headed to the gym bright & early- I was up before my alarm, I knew I wouldn’t be able to go back to bed because I would just keep thinking about how many minutes I had left.
I found this new workout from Meg at Be Fit Be Full & I LOVED it- I did the Interval Workout #5- Treadmill- 4 mile interval run. It went like this:
I ran for a total time of 36 minutes (one extra than Meg’s) & total miles: 4.28- I will post the mile splits later- I didn’t have time to download them off my Garmin this morning. I really enjoyed this workout though & I liked how it was a bit longer than normal interval workouts. And it went by fast because you keep changing the pace- which is also a good thing 🙂
After the run I did another arm weight workout- with bench presses, pull downs, chest presses, & a bunch more. ( I don’t think you want to hear all of it- could get boring :))
Then I DIDN’T do the “Whittle My Middle” workout this morning, instead I did another workout using the Bosu ball that I also found on Meg’s site. I liked changing my ab workout up this morning – I could feel it really working. You know how sometimes when you just keep doing the same thing daily your body adjusts- well, I wanted to throw it off a bit today 😉
For breakfast I made a Green Monster : I used 1 banana, a bunch of spinach, 1/2 scoop whey protein, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup water, 1 tsp. cocoa powder & LOTS of ice!
and off to work I went…
I’m at work now- just doing stuff here & there. I’m so glad it’s FRIDAY!! Craig & I are doing happy hour tonight + dinner with some friends…and guess where he suggested:
He said he hasn’t been there in awhile & would like to go. Why not??! 🙂
